By Train:

The nearest railway station to Majuli is Jorhat Railway Station (about 20 km away). You can take a taxi or a local bus from the station to Nimatighat, where ferries depart for Majuli.

By Road:

Majuli Island can be reached by road from Jorhat, which is approximately 20 km to Nimatighat. Alternatively, you can take a ferry across the Brahmaputra River. Ferries operate regularly, and the journey is scenic.

For International Travelers

By Air:

International travellers can fly into Guwahati International Airport (approximately 300 km from Majuli) and take a connecting flight to Jorhat Airport. Alternatively, you can take a train or taxi from Guwahati to Jorhat. From Jorhat, head to Nimatighat for a ferry ride to Majuli Island.

By Train:

International travellers can fly to Guwahati and then travel by train to Jorhat Railway Station. From there, proceed to Nimatighat for the ferry to Majuli Island.

By Road:

You can hire a taxi or use public transport from Jorhat to reach Nimatighat. From there, take a ferry to Majuli. If coming from Guwahati, you can also opt for a road trip to Jorhat and proceed as above.
