The historic cities of Delhi, Agra and Jaipur combine to provide travelers with a glimpse into the majesty of North India’s Golden Triangle, which encompasses a wealth of architectural wonders.
In Agra, you will see the fabulous Taj Mahal, explore the Agra Fort with its assortment of palaces, moats and audience halls. Of particular interest is the marble balcony from where the imprisoned Shah Jahan looked out at his marvellous creation, the Taj Mahal.
Enroute to Jaipur you will visit the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. This massive habitat was abandoned due to lack of water. Today, it remains a testament to the master builders of the Mughal Empire.
The Hawa Mahal (Palace Of The Winds) and the City Palace, with its armoury and museum in the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur, will transport you to that fascinating past. A definite highlight will be the thrilling elephant-back ride to the dramatic hilltop fortress of Amber.
Day 01: Delhi Railway Station / Airport – Hotel
Meet & Greet on arrival at Delhi Railway Station / Airport & transfer to Hotel. On arrival check-in to hotel.Covering Rastrapati Bhawan*, Parliament House*, Jantar Mantar & India Gate. Overnight stay at Delhi. (*Drive Pass)
Day 02: Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for fullday sightseeing tour of Delhi. Covering Jama Masjid*, Red Fort*, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bahai), Qutub Minar,Akshardham Temple Overnight stay at Delhi. (*Drive Pass)
Day 03: Delhi – Mathura / Vrindavan -Agra Sightseeing (216 Km / 3 ½ hrs)
After Breakfast drive to the Holy city – Mathura. Mathura is the land where Shri Krishna was born and spent his youth. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Afternoon visit the temples in Mathura. It is understood that Mathura City is the transcendental abode of Lord Krishna. It is not an ordinary material city, for it is eternally connected with the Supreme Personality of Godhead & Vrindavan. Vrindavan is just 15 km from Mathura, is another major place of pilgrimage. It is noted for its numerous temples – both old and modern. The name Vrindavan evokes the playfulness and lovable characteristics of Shri Krishna. This is the wood where he frolicked with the gopis and tenderly wooed Radha. Vrindavan is noted for its numerous temples. Later Afternoon drive to Agra On arrival check-in to your hotel. Later Afternoon visit The world famous Taj Mahal – the most precious gift of love built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his loving wife Mumtaz and Also visit the Marble inlay making factories to see traditional workers making amazing marble crafts. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 04: Agra - Delhi Railway Station / Airport
After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Delhi Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey.
